Waterpark & Splashpark

We have a heated water park with slides, a paddling pool, and a beach with deckchairs for you to enjoy.
Splashpark from 216m² with playground and water jets. A land ideal and playful to introduce your littel ones with water and to have fun with family.
Open every day from 6th of May to 11th of September 2022, from 10 AM to 8 PM.
Free access for campsite members, wearing bracelets which are to be removed at reception.
Shower and toilet area within the water park.

Canoe kayak

An exceptional adventure on the river

In cooperation with the PAN club, we offer trips down the River Ognon from Villersexel to our campsite in Bonnal (13km). A bus will be waiting outside reception to take you to Villersexel. We return to the campsite at around 5 pm.

There is a fee for this activity, payable directly to the club, including lifejackets, paddles et and a watertight container, and bus travel.

Treetop rope course

A zipline above the river

This is part of our programme of activities in high season. Registration is required and there is a fee for this activity, which lasts around an hour.
Minimum height of 1m25 and 6 years old miminum.
This is a particularly well-supervised activity just for children and teenagers. Helmets are available to borrow.

Fishing

A paradise for fishermen

Val de Bonnal is a privileged place for all fishermen who are passionate about nature. The currents of the Ognon are the favorite playground of carnivorous fish (pikes, pike-perch, perch). You can also find white fish (bleak, gudgeon, bream), carp or nice Fario trout.

A fishing card is required to fish in the river.

Please note that fishing is unfortunately not allowed in the lakes!

Bicycle rental

There are many possibilities for you! Discover the forest and the small villages surrounding the Val de Bonnal; cycle around the lakes, for a breathtaking 4km ride; or ride on the new greenway between Bonnal and Lure: a 28 km long route in complete safety.

Bicycles for hire for adults and teenagers, for half a day or the whole day. As a reminder, helmets are mandatory for children under 12 years old (helmets and padlocks can be lent).

Electric bikes can be hired for a day for those over 18 years old, by reservation the day before.

The Lake

Discover our leisure centre and lakes on the other side of the river.
Secure bathing lake with a huge grassy beach to relax on.
Space for swimming.
Dogs are not allowed in the leisure area and around the lakes.

Animations

Our campsite is part of the child friendly campsites selection of the website www.kids-camping.com.

A multilingual team from Team Animation is on hand to organise activities in high season.

There is a weekly programme of activities, 6 days a week. Some activities require registration to help with organisation. Please note, the programme may vary according to weather conditions.

Morning: children’s club Afternoon: sports and fun activities Evening: until 11.30 pm at the latest. It’s not a nightclub atmosphere, we cater to families and strive to maintain a calm, peaceful environment.

Kids' Club

Our children’s club is for children aged 5-12. It is open 6 days a week in high season, from 10 am to noon. Children can enjoy lots of activities with their multilingual activities organisers. This is a free activity, and you can pick up a weekly programme.

The children’s discos are always a great success.

Campsite Val de Bonnal is part of the child friendly campsites selection of the website www.kids-campings.com. Our animation program is performed by a multilingual entertainment team from Team Animation that provides a full program during the high season.

Playground

Children can have a great time in our play areas, under parental supervision.

Slides, swings, sandpits and seesaws, your kids will be spoilt for choice. An ideal place to meet their future friends, where the language barrier is of little importance!

It gets very busy at some times of the day.
